Homeschool Recognition Growing–It Works
Oct 16th, 2008 | By Jessica Parnell | Category: General Homeschool Posts, New to HomeschoolingAnd that is exactly what is happening throughout the United States.
Homeschooling works and people are noticing!
In fact, more and more families are choosing to homeschool for a variety of reasons.
When I started working with homeschooling families in 1990, almost every one of them was homeschooling in order to provide a solid Christian education for their children. One where the academics remained strong, but the priority was on providing a strong foundation in truth.
However, in the last several years, I have seen the trend shifting. Although Christian families make up much of the homeschooling demographic, I meet more and more families who are homeschooling for different reasons.
Whether it is to provide a more flexible schedule, stronger academics, or help for students with learning disabilities, the outcome is the same–homeschooling works!
