Homeschool Tip–Consider Web-Development or Computer Technology

As a result, we do not have the highly skilled workforce needed to fill the huge demand for computer related positions. In fact, in the Harrisburg, PA area alone, there are 500-1000 positions open at a given time for web-development and computer technology.
Why am I alerting you to this? Whether you are homeschooled student or not, here is a field that is still wide open. Homeschoolers have the distinct advantage of freedom– freedom to begin preparing for such a field while still in school.
In fact, Bridgeway Academy offers many different computer technology courses–some of which are certification courses where homeschool students can begin to explore their interest in this field before heading off to college.
So if you are a homeschooler with a penchant for computers, consider entering the world of web-development. It is still a field where the laborers are few.
